Volunteer (Sewing/Mending)

For ages 15-21, you begin by taking a mandatory mending induction session to learn the basics. 🪡 Mending 101 Class (Intro to hand mending; Basics) Sundays | 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. (Fee: AED50) Discover the basics of clothing repair in this one-hour crash course designed to kickstart your journey into sustainable fashion. You’ll learn essential skills like:  Understanding the importance of fashion sustainability, and garment care  Threading a needle and tying secure knots  Sewing on buttons  Repairing seams  Fixing hems The mending class can be booked under our workshops page.
